I am so proud and SO excited to announce that the Mermaid Experience E-Course is re-opening its doors for enrolment this summer! I freaking LOVE this course and LOVE the affect that working with mermaids has on my life, and I wanted to share a little about it and let you know what the course is all about.
It’s a five-week course exploring loads of aspects of working with the mermaids. I wanted to create a course that would give you the opportunity to discover how much mermaids can 
change your life and make it more awesome. I know, it’s crazy how something as fairy taleish as Mermaids can help you COMPLETELY change the way you see yourself and the world around you, but it works!
If you join me, you will be working with the mermaid archetype a LOT for five weeks, maybe more if you fall in love with it. I see Mermaids as an aspect of the Great Goddess and the Wild Divine Feminine, a channel for empowering feminine wisdom to pour through. Here’s the plan for the five weeks:
In Week One, we’ll be learning about the real basics of mermaids. We will be exploring their trail through history, and how they came to be the creatures they are today. You will discover how the history of mermaids is linked with the history of women, and the repression of sexuality and nature, and get majorly excited about reclaiming that here in the 21st You will explore the whole spectrum of mermaids, from the Good Goddess all the way to the Terrible Goddess, get thinking about what the Mermaid archetype means to you. We will do a beautiful MP3 meditation together to meet our mermaid guide, and learn how to connect with our mermaid essence on a regular basis. Plus, you will get a special Mermaid Mythology and Folklore Ebook chock full of mermaid stories and goddesses for you to dip into at will. Woohoo!
- In Week Two and Three, we start taking practical action to bring the Mermaids into our everyday lives! We explore the mermaid’s sacred tools, the Mirror and the Comb, and begin to change the way we see ourselves in everyday life: we begin to notice the wild mermaid within, and encourage her to come out and play with us. You will learn about Love and the mermaids, and what that means in a mermaidenly sense. Plus, this week you will receive the Mermaid’s Handbook: an e-book chock full of rituals, recipes, prayers and ideas on how to bring the power and energy of mermaids into your every day life. I love this book, I’m adding to it and changing it right now to make it even better and more exciting, and I can’t wait to share it with you! Originally this was just a one week section, but I’m giving you so much information this week and so much to look into and explore and work with, it’s definitely a two week adventure to give you time to really dive in and play.
In Week Four we get a little darker! Mermaids of course are not all light and sparkles, and they represent so many taboo parts of feminine nature: sex, death, blood, vengeance, sacrifice, anger, fear etc. The things that most new-age mermaid books just touch on. We are not all creatures of light and love all the time, and neither are mermaids. This week you will be challenged to look into the mermaid’s mirror and truly see what you are hiding from yourself. Here we explore the darker side of mermaids and the darker side of ourselves, and allow the mermaids to give us permission to feel those raw forbidden feelings that we feel as women – and give ourselves ways to express and honour the darker sides of ourselves.
Week Five is our celebration week! We get ready to move forward from the course and discover how to get in touch with our inner mermaid selves and access the bad-ass, powerful wisdom of the mermaids every day. We close our Mermaid Experience with a beautiful ritual, and a toolbox of tricks to take with us into the human world.
Throughout the course I will be sharing loads of fun things with you like Meditation mp3’s, worksheets, affirmations, posters and mini projects to work with to make your journey with the mermaids as easy and fun as possible, plus we will join together in our community Mermaid Experience Facebook Group to discuss the course, answer prompts and questions that will take us deeper into our exploration of the mermaid archetype, and hang out with other mermaid people like you, because mermaid people are the best people!
My brand of mermaid spirituality is really practical and very life-changing, inspirational and internally focused, and I haven’t really seen anything similar anywhere else. I’m not really interested in anything that doesn’t have a practical application to our everyday lives, and I am deffo not interested in just mooning after how beautiful and magical mermaids are for five weeks. I’d much rather DO stuff, you know? Uncover truths that shake my perception of the world, understand things in a way that makes me think and challenge and cause me to make up my own mind about stuff and take action.
