Aaaaaaand this week, we have a gorgeous LOVER mermaid tarot card! Woohoo! All sensuousness and glittering gold. She’s got rippling romantic pre-raphaelite hair, roses and jasmine aplenty, and two white doves symbolising everlasting love keeping her company. 
She is detailed in gold, because what could be more luxurious than lovely gold edging!
You know, it’s so hard to photograph the colour of the gilt ink I use on these babies, because shiny = horrible photography nightmare, but these photos really capture the lovely yellow-golden shininess of the ink I use. Check it.
Mmmm-mmm-mmm.
This one is actually a self portrait of sorts. I needed something to remind me to connect with the luciousness of life, with the feminine qualities of pleasure, recieving and beauty. I tend to get all caught up in the Doing and the Achieving rather than the Being and the Enjoying. This card is my own personal reminder to stop and smell the roses.
Today I have been having a fab time updating my Etsy store, taking new pictures of my art and putting up new stuff, making everything turquoise and emerald. You should totally go and have a poke around, tell me what you think.
