Something that has been on my to-do-list for a long time is to go get my astrology chart done by a professional and stuff. I’m fascinated by astrology. Sometimes I think, well it’s all a bunch of bollocks, and then othertimes it’s so freaking SPOT ON it’s spooky. A lot of people I respect and greatly admire swear by astrology, so I’ve always wanted to look deeper into it, just to learn a bit more and see what I think.

Anyway, over on the Little Red Tarot (one of my fave blogs) Tabby Besley has been taking us through how to interpret our horoscope chart, all the signs and houses and planets and stuff, what they mean and how to apply that to learning more about you. It’s just fabulous, I’ve learnt so much. You can click Here to go straight to Astrology DIY!

Remember me talking about spooky astro wisdom? How kooky little schizo introvert/extrovert me is who all noisy and high energy and stuff-doing and yet at the same time intensely quiet and self reflective and all sex-death-spirituality is actually an Aries sun and a Scorpio moon… well Scorpio lots of things really. As an Aries peep I always felt that I never fit the stereotype of a fiery personality, and after looking into my chart I found out that I am almost all earth and water signs – literally my Aries sun is the only one.

How about being a little cheeky and checking out other people’s charts? Well, I learn’t through this series that my partner’s Sagittarius moon explains his “don’t trap me! I need to be FREEE!” attitude and huge independent streak, and how his endless stream of ideas and new projects that get overtaken by the next great idea gets explained by his huge amount of air and fire and total lack of earth or water in his chart. Say whaaaa? (I told him, and he wasn’t super impressed. He ain’t an astrology kinda guy.)

All you need is a copy of your natal birth chart, and you can get one of them hella easy at http://www.astro.com for free. Go and check it out!
