Today I am holy mega excited, as this weekend I start the Priestess of Avalon training course in Glastonbury!  I’ve been looking forward to starting this course all year – it has been the the number one source of excitement in 2013, and something I have been dreaming of doing for the last five years, never quite thinking I’d have the balls to do it. Turns out I do! I am beyond excited!

This whole process of honouring myself and my spiritual interests has been a freaking huge journey for me this past couple of years, and I am so proud of myself for opening up this far, and so excited to find out what happens next on my journey to becoming a priestess. I feel I am on the brink of something magical, on some kind of incredible turning point in my relationship with the Goddess and my relationship with my truest self.

I can’t wait to tell you all about it next week.

In other priestess news, the Sisterhood of Avalon is opening it’s membership applications this week through November 17th.  The Sisterhood of Avalon is a kind of priestess support and study group for the Avalonian Tradition as founded by Jhenah Telyndru, the author of Avalon Within.  I’ve reviewed this book before, and though the first time I read it I found it incredibly challenging and not at all what I was looking for on my Priestess Path, further reads this year have shown me the love and treasure I missed the first time, so I think a re-review is in order. Funny how books do that sometimes – it seems there is a right and wrong time to read them I think. Anyway, I feel that her method would really benefit from support and guidance in this Sisterhood format.

So if you dug that Avalon Within, and want to start self-studying the priestess path as part of a support group, pop on over to this site and see if becoming a member is the right option to you.

I’m not doing it as I am already being priestess-training-greedy this year. But if you do do it, pop me an e-mail and tell me how you find it!
