As we head into the Witching Season, here is a roundup of 27 witchy films, movies and TV shows to snuggle down to on your cozy autumn nights picked by the Rockstar Priestess community.
Movies
???? Practical Magic – The most popular vote by far! The most beautiful classic movie about sisterhood, magic and living in the worlds most desirable house.

???? Hocus Pocus – Kids classic halloween tale about some pesky kids who re-awaken three eeeeevil witches who like to eat children from centuries of slumber. Hocus Pocus 2 is actually really good too – I liked it better than the first one.

???? The Craft – 90’s classic about teen witches in Los Angeles using magic to get ahead and get in trouble. SO GOOD.

???? Witches of Eastwick – Cher, Michelle Pfeiffer and Susan Sarandon are bored divorced women who summon the devil to spice up their dull lives… and the devil happens to be Jack Nicholson and he wants to sleep with them ALL. So good!
???? Sleepy Hollow – Johnny Depp travels to the sticks of uptown New York to investigate a MURDER while villiagers tell stories of the headless horseman… I wanted to be Christina Ricci when I was a teen because of this movie, and I am still swooning over the incredible 18th and 19th century costuming.
???? Maleficent – I know she is technically a fairy but she’s witchy enough to be on this list for sure.

???? The Love Witch – aesthetic 60’s vibes as a witch uses magic to get men to fall in love with her. This one has been on my to watch list for ages.

???? Bewitched – Kitchy witchy rom com with Nicole Kidman in it.
???? Rosemary’s Baby – Classic horror for your evil witchy needs
???? The Lords of Salem (More evil witches!)
???? The Worst Witch – Family friendly 80’s witchiness with Fairuza Balk – how could you say no to this awful movie poster? Also, Tim Curry is in it. Nuff said.

???? Teen Witch – Another classic wholesome 80’s witch movie

???? The Witches… both the Angelica Huston one and the Anne Hathaway one. A kids movie about child eating witches!
???? The Crucible – while not technically featuring witches, it’s all about the hysteria of the salem witch trials, so it counts
???? Warlock – a time travelling warlock does stuff. I don’t know much about this one personally but it looks SO. EIGHTIES.
???? The VVitvh – powerful horror movie set in 17th century New England, when everyone was terrified of witches..

TV Shows:
???? The Witches of East End – A witch mom is secretly battling a curse while her adult daughters discover their powers. Glossy and beautiful and everyone has great hair and looks amazing all the time.
???? A Discovery of Witches – I haven’t watched the TV show, but I have read the book and basically it’s Twilight for grown ups… but with added going back in time. Winner.
???? Salem
???? Chilling Adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch – Sabrina comes into her powers as a young witch and tries to find her place in the coven, while being brought up by her aunts. Hail Satan!
???? Charmed – Three sisters discover their powers when their grandma dies and reveal their destiny to protect the world against demons. Soapy, cute and gives you very misguided ideas about the weather in San Fransisco.
???? Mayfair Witches – based on the novels of Anne Rice
???? Domino Day – a witch haunted by her need to feed on the energy of others.

???? The Good Witch – wholesome, cheesy as hell and the most Hallmark witch show you will ever see – but charming, especially if you delight in seeing casual realistic witches being loved by their community.

???? Agatha All Along – Marvel TV show about witches on Disney Channel

???? Buffy the Vampire Slayer – mostly about vampires, but also featuring the reason why so many of the kids of the ninties got really into Wicca – Willow and Tara, witches extraordinare.
How many of these have you seen?

Great List!
I watched Maleficent three times in a row when it came out in theaters, and the cinematography is just stunning! Who else thinks Maleficent
has Morgan Le Fay vibes??? ????????♀️???? ( I also liked Hocus Pocus 2 more than the first one.)
