Aphrodite Rites is a 12 week ceremonial journey for folk who are desiring to dive deep and connect with Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love. Through ceremony, pleasure practice, dance, devotion, scent and ritual we will connect with the Goddess of Love and Life and come to know what it means to walk her pathway as sensual, spiritual beings.

Who is Aphrodite?
Aphrodite is the great Greek Goddess of Love, Sex and Sensuality… but she is also a goddess of friendship, desire, plants, the sea, motherhood, transformation, war, grief, divine presence and so much more. She is so much more than modern culture gives her credit for.
She is part of a lineage of Love and EVERYTHING Goddesses who stretch back through the near east to Mesopotamia and Ancient Sumeria. These original Great Goddesses birthed civilisation and ruled all aspects of life.
Aphrodite is a true goddess of LIFE and all the challenges and delights life brings us. She rules all the things that make life worth living and all the hard and difficult times too – she is here for all of it. She asks us to be here, in our bodies, to live life to the fullest – to feel, to dare, to dream, and to enjoy our one beautiful life.

The full-on festival of Aphrodite! Our last rite is a full force beam of her energy and blessing to empower our lives and honour our beloved goddess of Love.

Meet your aphrodite guide and ringleader
About your Guide, Demi Fox
Demi is a Priestess of the Goddess, a long time devotee of Aphrodite, priestess of the holy oils and a Venusian Witch.
Trained as a Sacred Sexual Priestess under Katinka Soetens and mentored in the art of ceremony by Elayne Kalila Doughty of Priestess Presence, Demi is known for creating powerful- ceremonies, super potent meditations, and for presenting pathways to Goddess Spirituality in a fun down-to-earth way.
She’s travelled to Italy and Greece many times on the hunt for Aphrodite and spent countless hours deep in the bowls of Cambridge University library learning everything she can about her worship.
Demi is also a modern-day temple dancer. She has spent 20 years studying Middle Eastern Dance, 6 years studying Odissi Classical Indian Dance, journeyed to Brazil to understand the ritual dance of the Candomble traditions, and spent a decade as an international professional performer and dance teacher.

It is likely I will never offer this class live again – it was a magical, spur of the moment Aphroditic inspiration, and there just isn’t time in my schedule to run it live again. It’s possible I might add to it in the future – and all self study registrants will get any updates I make!
Venus Working is my primer on Goddess Magic and working with Goddess Energy to invoke big change in your life – and it’s miraculous! – but it’s very much about techniques to work magic to make your life more fun. It’s like Venus 101 -it’s just enough to make sure you can take action without getting overwhelmed and get a yummy result as soon as possible.
Aphrodite Rites is like a 202 class. We do specific ceremonies and practices to work with Aphrodite, learning more about who she is and her energy, because we have a desire to be closer to that particular energy, to connect with Aphrodite in some way because our lives are longing for this specific Aphrodite energy, to be the roses in her garden, to go on a journey of discovery with a goddess who fascinates us.
This class does make our lives more fun, but it’s a deepening and an expansion of The Venus Working – when you have mastered how to use Venus Magic to make life less dull and more brilliant, then you can go deeper, connect with Aphrodite as a divine being rather than a divine energy, participate in rituals designed to evoke her presence and inspired by ancient rites and rituals…
… and deepen in with particular Aphroditic and Venusuan skills, such as pleasure practice, sacred oils, plant allies, sacred dance, and nerd out with juicy Aphrodite info.

Aphrodite is a supreme sexual goddess, and this class does not explicitly focus on sex magic… but we do mention it, allude to it and invite you to learn some sexual arts of manifesting if you would like to as part of the extra resources in this group (these practices are not specifically female body focused). You can engage as much or as little as you like in this.
We will be learning breast massage as part of our ceremonial practice. We do not go heavy into womb stuff or female bodied sex stuff beyond breast massage in this class.
This open to all women including trans women and is a welcome space for non-binary folk who are comfortable being in a space that sometimes centres the experiences of women. We’d love to have you in our sister/siblinghood!
We will do an Aphrodite Festival with scholarships available at some point hopefully!
No, no you are not. This class will leave you a different person at the end of it – more rooted in the flow of life, more able to let go, and more able to ride the bliss of life’s turbulent waves.
