A Mermaid Woman doesn’t do things in half measures – she can only commit with her whole self. Passion is her way of life.
The challenge of Mermaid Women is to know that their emotionality and passion is a strength and power rather than a weakness, to fully love and accept their full range of feelings and emotions.
The patriarchy tried to demonise female passion and emotionality as weakness – not true! With the strength of her powerful emotions, a Mermaid Women is drawn into the deepest, most sacred experience of the world around her. She loves with all she has: she reacts in bliss to the beauty of a sunset: she cherishes the touch of soft cashmere on their skin: she remembers the exact moment she fell in love for the first time.

If you are a Mermaid Woman, you might be… a little confusing! You can be one thing, yet at the same time, be it’s complete opposite. You could be sweet and childlike but wise and Queenly at the same time. Ravishingly sexual, yet pure and innocent. Extroverted and introverted.
None of these aspects is more true than another. As shapeshifters, mermaids can hold two or more contradicting emotions, archetypes or beliefs at once, with ease.

Beauty speaks to their deep feelings and emotions, connecting them with all that is wonderful about being incarnated in the world.
Rather than being disciples of transcendence, Mermaid Women are so connected with the beauty in this world, have such a need to fill their soul with it, to experience the gorgeousness of the world they live in that their path to spiritual bliss is often through earth-loving religions and spirituality.
6 Mermaid Women are Pleasure Seekers
Mermaid Women are incredibly sensual beings, rooted in their bodies and their experience in the physical world. They crave pleasure and luxuriance – sometimes at the cost of all other things, if their wild mermaid nature is allowed to run unchecked. You can’t force a Mermaid Woman to do what she doesn’t want to do, or motivate her by fear and scarcity – you can only tempt and seduce her by offering something she desires.

Sadly many Mermaid Women are so taken back by their sensitivity, feel so strongly that their sensitive nature is weak and unacceptable, that they feel they have to close down and shut off from the cruelty of the world and cannot process their compassion into action.
