Morgan le Fay Mystery School is my proudest achievement, and in the run up to Samhain each year we open the doors to the School so new Sisters and Priestesses of Morgana can begin and continue their studies (because a Priestess has been training for her role her whole life, wether she knew it or not) in devotion to the shapeshifter goddess Morgan le Fay.

I wanted to let you know what happens and what goes down in Morgan Mystery School Sister Year.

We work with the Wheel of the Year.

In Sister Year, we work with the pagan Wheel of the Year to discover and deepen into the many facets of Morgan le Fay. We spend six weeks at each of the major seasonal sabbats (Samhain, Yule, Imbolg, Spring Equinox, Beltane, Midsummer, Lammas, Autumn Equinox) studying a different face of Morgan le Fay. We do this because as a shapeshifter goddess, Morgan le Fay is not just one thing: she shifts and fades and melds into many other goddesses and archetypes, and by studying her through the wheel of the year we are able to devote time to learning about her in the many different ways she shows up.

We work with Morgana in Sister Year as an Underworld Goddess, as a High Priestess, a Sister, an Enchantress, a Faery Goddess and a Lover Goddess, as Healer and Lady of the Lake, as the Great Mother Goddess and as Avalon, and as a badass Queen.

Through studying her many layers, we learn more about ourselves, reclaim lost parts of our souls, discover what fires us up and what freaks us out, and initiate her healing and initiation in all areas of our lives. We learn her skills and arts in each of these areas: for example, in High Priestess season we learn the skills of the priestess, of resonance and stillness and vibration: in Enchantress season, we dive into witchcraft and magic (always a core part of Morgan’s legacy): in Mother season, we learn the arts of surrender, of faith and of deep earthing and connection with the sacred land.

Of course, these are not her only aspects! In the Second Year of training, the Priestess Year, we work extensively with her as a Lunar Goddess, as an Oracle and as a Sorceress, and we put a big focus on her skills as an Underworld Goddess/Shadow Worker and as a High Priestess.

It’s an online class.

All our lessons take place online: there is a weekly PDF lesson often accompanied by some extra mixed media treats like a MP3 meditation, and at least three online events during each six week season. There are optional one-on-one sessions with me you can take each season, so we can do in depth shadow work together or help clarify your lessons and truths.

At the end of the year, you can choose to join me in Glastonbury for a gorgeous initiation weekend if you like! But if you live very far away and can’t get to Glastonbury, you can still complete and graduate the course.

We have a Facebook group and regular online Sister Circles held over conferencing software, so even though you may be hundreds or even thousands of miles away from your sisters, you still feel connected, get to know them and see their lovely faces and feel them as sisters. It’s a magical experience and all praise to the internet for bringing people together!

You get to be as witchy or as non witchy as you want.

Sister year is a year of exploration, of following the threads of each facet of Morgan le Fay to see where your strength and Priestess soul lies. Every Morgan Sister is different, but the point is we are not meant to be the same. Morgan le Fay rules Avalon with her posse of 8 other queens, all having their own speciality, focus and skillset. You don’t HAVE to be a witch who is into wearing black to work with Morgan le Fay – I’m not. You don’t have to fit any sterotype of anything, because Morgan doesn’t either. Her sisters from past Morgen Mystery trainings have been herb witches, galactic channels of healing, languid pleasure priestesses, incarnated faeries, dark queens of healing waters, hermits, practical and grounded priestesses and wild glamour seductresses. We make quite a spectacular round table of badass, powerful women.

Working with Morgan le Fay helps you find out what your flavour is and get the support to remember that who you are is the greatest magic – that you don’t have to fit in with anyone’s idea of what a witch or a priestess is in order to be one.

One of our 2019 Sister Circle said that Morgan le Fay is the Queen of Misfits, of the ones who do not quite fit in but are determined to live their truth and claim their power and place in the world.

So even though Morgan le Fay is a goddess of Witches, that is not all she is, and you don’t have to be either.

We learn the Skills of Morgan le Fay.

It’s a bit like Avalonian Hogwarts: we study core Morgana Skills such as sisterhood, working with faeries, magic, energy work, shadow work and herbcraft – things a Sister of Morgan le Fay just has to know.

We have a strong focus on the Avalonian art of Herbcraft

As Sisters and Priestesses of Morgana in Training, we are into learning and leveling up in Morgan’s traditional skills and practices: and chief among these is Herbcraft. Morgan has always been noted as an excellent healer and herbalist, so we make a point of our studies to go deeper into this skill.

Our delightful and witchy AF potions professor Suzanne O’Gara spends Morgan Mystery School teaching us the art of herbcraft and how to work with herbs in medicinal, magical and cosmetic ways – every season we have a dedicated herb lesson with homework where we learn a practical aspect of herbcraft, discover how to work with select herbs associated with Morgan le Fay and build our confidence working with plants for healing and witchery.

Suzanne runs a gorgeous Guardian Herb project within the Sister Year, where you are given a specific herb to work with and learn about throughout the year.

It’s for women who want to deepen into the mysteries, arts and devotion of Morgan le Fay.

Sister year is created for women who want to go deeper with Morgan le Fay, to really call her in and invoke her teaching for the next year of our lives and see what she wants to transform and where she wants us to go.

The calling to work with Morgan le Fay could be explicit – it could be that she appears to you in vision, that arthurian stuff keeps popping up on the TV, that you heard about her and felt a huge body woosh of YES… but she often works in far more subtle ways. She’s a goddess of the twilight, tempting us onto her misty pathway. Some Morgan Sisters have felt this immediate YES woosh on working with Morgana. Some have felt a subtle calling to this work, this work of Avalon and of Morgan le Fay, and about the ability to have their journey supported and their individuality celebrated. Some sisters have felt a real call to the arts of the Priestess but are also strong in their identity as a Witch, which of course Morgan le Fay as the ultimate Witch Priestess is delighted by – she is a perfect patron for a witchy mystic. Some just have a feeling it’s a good thing to do for them.

Women called to the Morgen Path are a particular kind of creature. They are independent and willful and want to do things their way. Morgana’s touchwords are Transformation, Desire and Power, and Morgen Women are really drawn to explore these topics in depth – they have an aching for alchemy, are irresistably drawn to distilling the darkness of the shadow, are facinated by their ability to hold power and make change in the physical and the spiritual world, and want to be able to straddle both the otherworld and this world with ease, finesse and success – just like Morgan le Fay does.

It’s the first part of a training program to embody your truest priestess self.

I really believe that there is no cookie-cutter route to becoming a Priestess because you have been training to do this already your whole life. Your gift to bring the world as a Priestess is you being exactly who YOU are in service to the world, and you can’t judge that by the size of your healing practice or by how many women’s circles you run a month.

This training is about opening yourself up to explore who you are at your deepest spiritual truth and giving you the confidence and knowledge that you can do it as you are and that there is a very particular and unique-to-you path of priestessing for you.

It’s easy to loose that knowledge, to forget it and look outside ourselves for validation, get lost in the sea of love-and-light on instagram and feel like we are supposed to be another way. In Mystery School you get a coven of badasses cheering you on to be exactly you.

Working with the wheel of Morgan le Fay, we uncover which of her arts are also YOUR arts, so we know which direction you want to go in as a Priestess – because there is more than one. You don’t have to go down the love and light, pray for the world each night, being vegan and doing yoga route, or the online business route, or the healer route. You can be a priestess who lives in her own house and loves her garden and that’s kinda it. You can be a priestess who serves just by being fully present with the people in your life and offering them grounded advice. You can be a priestess by opening up a tea shop, running online witch classes, being a healer, founding a temple, being a dancer or an artist… or by committing to enjoying every moment of life.

Morgan is interested in truth, not so much in the glorification of her fine self – her deepest satisfaction is when her devotees do the work and shine as they are, follow their desires and know their truth.

My job is to provide the space for you to do this discovery and see you for the magical badass you are.

So that’s Morgan le Fay Mystery School Sister Year!
