It’s a super lazy day here in England – it’s a bank holiday and it’s been raining non-stop, making it a very snuggly sitting-on-the-sofa-wrapped-in-duvets kinda day. The perfect day for wrapping up and watching a Goddess Film perhaps? Introducing Goddess Remembered, a lovely documentary by the National Film Board of Canada. I found this wonderful documentary a few years ago on a similar snuggly sleepy day. It’s a wonderful, calm and peaceful goddess film from the 80’s looking at the ancient worship of the Goddess (meaning you get to see sacred goddess sites and artefacts from around the world) and exploring the modern goddess movement with some of the big movers and shakers of the day: Carol Christ, Jean Sinola Bolen and Merlin Stone all rock up to share their smarts, and I think I peeked a little of Starhawk in there too. Goddess Film Goddess Remembered click to watch Word of Warning – it doesn’t seem to work on mobile devices. Sad face. Happy Duvet Day everyone!
