I spent Samhain Weekend in Glastonbury with some of my Morgan le Fay Mystery School students – they came here to graduate and initiate as Sisters of Morgan le Fay!

I do have to say, I am utterly charmed – I always and exclusively attract the most wonderful, grounded, incredible human beings to my classes, so of course this weekend was wildly WONDERFUL.

We started on Friday night, with a group dinner (yum!) and a night time walk up Glastonbury Tor. When I was priestess training in Glastonbury in my early 20’s I would walk across the landscape every night under the inky black sky. I am such a night person – being under the stars and in the silence of the darkness makes me feel so peaceful, like there is finally space in my mind again.

So I took my brave students on a walk up the tor in the dark, to release whatever needed to be released on our journey to step into our full Morgan power.

And, lucky us, there were folks on top of the tor already drumming and digeriedoo-ing! We asked them if they would help us in our ritual, and cos it was Glastonbury they said YES… and we also invited them to join us too! Along with some other friendly randos on top of the tor!

This was really special to me. Not only was it so powerful – the best rituals are always so simple – but being able to include other people and be supported by a bigger circle was so fab, and really vibes with the heart of what Mystery School is all about. These mysteries and magics are not meant to be hidden away, and we are not meant to jealously keep ourselves separate from others – we are here as Sisters of Avalon to open those connections with other people, join together to support and love and create change.

We worked a powerful sword ritual in Saturday Morning, and then our traditional Mystery School night of tea ceremony and deep vision questing to prepare for our initiation as Sisters of Morgan le Fay the next day.

Tea was of course supplied and shipped to us by our darling Suzanne O’Gara, herb witch supreme, and was a special visionary blend of all the herbs we work with in our mystery school.

Sunday morning, we travelled to three powerful spots on the Glastonbury landscape to take our vows and claim ourselves as Sisters of Avalon – highlights for me were everyone announcing their arrival back in Avalon on Wearyall Hill as they were veiled by the Priestesses of Morgan le Fay, anointing folk in the autumn gardens of the sacred Chalice Well, and dancing to hang drums in the powerful Avalonian temple of the white spiring.

In the afternoon we got to play POTIONS – using my skills and knowledge as a Scent Priestess, I brought along my huge collection of essential oils and everyone mixed their own personal anointing oil blend to seal into exactly what they were claiming as a Sister of Morgan this weekend, decanted into a beautiful jewelled little bottle.

The thing about Morgan le Fay is that she has so many faces – she is a shapeshifter, and you are supposed to identify more with some aspects than others. Our work at our initiation weekend was to really discern what energy Morgan was guiding us to reclaim from within ourselves and embody it.

And just… mannnn potion making is so fun! My students created some BEAUTIFUL perfumes… which of course we then enchanted, witchy style!

It was such a magical weekend that was utterly transformation for all of us – and I am so glad and so happy I got to play with and meet my students in real life too.

I am honoured we get the most wonderful folk in Mystery School!

And I was really thrilled to be supported by Rebecca Burgess of the Temple of Cornwall as my assistant priestess this weekend. (Priestesses never do it alone because everything is better in a team… and our whole thing is that we are relearning healthy patterns of support!)

She is also a Priestess of Morgan le Fay (not in my tradition or mystery school, from her own lived experience which is just as legit) and I think it’s just magical to have priestesses and sisters of Morgen from other traditions, schools and inspirations to support and be a part of our work.

No way is my mystery school the only path to working with Morgan le Fay, and all the people on all the other paths around the world are also our sister, siblings and brothers.

We are all one great big Team, and we all hold the same energy.

It was a truly magical weekend!

I can’t wait to be running more retreats in 2023!

Let me know, what kind of retreat would you LOVE LOVE LOVE to join me on?
